No More Outsiders: An LGBTQIA+ journey through the Bible

This seminar will outline a robust Christian framework for full inclusion and affirmation of LGBTQIA+ people in the shared life of faith. We will pay particular attention to the scripture passages often referenced in this discussion and set them within the larger biblical worldview as well as the contemporary context we find ourselves in today.

“As Christians, we must acknowledge the harm caused to the whole church by the mistreatment of our LGBTQIA+ family. We have not handled our scriptures well, we have failed to love our neighbour as ourselves and we need to make amends.”
