Supporting Harbour

Harbour Faith Community holds an important space in Northern Ireland for those who wish to explore the Christian faith in a more thoughtful, open and inclusive way.

Our work relies entirely on the kindness and generosity of those who offer practical and financial support to help us keep the lights on. As a registered charity, we have a board of Trustees who manage the budget along with other governance responsibilities.

In terms of giving, there are a few ways you can help the Trustees to manage the budget well:

The first way is to start (or increase) a monthly standing order of any amount you feel you would like to give and to let us know using the form below.

(Please remember that a Standing Order is not the same as a Direct Debit. With a Standing Order you are always in full control with the freedom to stop, start or change the amount at any time.)

Secondly, if you currently support us through PayPal or any other means, it would be really helpful if you could change this to a standing order. This allows us to save on fees and to consolidate our financial oversight into one place.

Thirdly, please let us know if we can claim gift aid on your donations using the same form below. (Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows UK taxpayers to reclaim tax on donations to charities. This means that for every £1 you donate, the government adds a 25p donation at no extra cost to you.)

Finally, please be assured that any giving at Harbour is purely voluntary and no one should feel under any obligation. We always want to be good stewards with any donations we receive but we never want to be a burden to anyone.
